Slow Internet?

  • This can be a number of factors include your distance from your router and objects between it. 
  • Move closer to your router or try a hardwired device.
    • Hardwire means to plug the Ethernet Cord directly from the small Black POE box marked LAN directly into your Laptop or other Ethernet Capable Device.
  • Check your current bandwidth by running a Speedtest.

No Internet?

  • If you have No Internet and have checked multiple devices, check the following:

  1. Check that the Ethernet cable coming from outside is plugged into the POE labeled side of the black power brick. Unplug and Replug.
  2. Check that the cable in the LAN side of the power brick is secure and runs into your router. The correct port is usually yellow and labeled “Internet”.  Make sure your router is turned On and then power cycle it by Unplugging the Power Source and then Plugging it back in.
  3. Still No Internet?  The Black POE box that is plugged into your Electrical Outlet might need to be "Power Cycled" also.  Unplug the Power Source from the Outlet, and wait until the White Dim light goes completely out.  Then Plug back in.

Need a New Router?

  • Most ethernet based routers will work fine. Linksys, Belkin or Netgear should be fine. They will say wireless router on the front of the Device or Box.  You will have no Need for a Combo Unit, as the Equipment we Provide already has a Modem Built in.  Only a Router to Broadcast your signal throughout your home to your wireless devices is needed.

Computer Problems?

  • Make sure and completely power off your computer for 5-8 minutes
  • After reboot check Ethernet cable; back of computer and make sure it is flashing one green light. If not follow cable to router and make sure cable is pushed in correctly.
  • Wireless find SSID WiFi Name and reconnect
